In the afternoon, on Sept. 17, 2015, the Observation Delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to Korea led by Board Chairman of Runfar Group and Chairman of Chinese and Foreign Entrepreneurs Alliance (hereinafter referred to as “the Alliance”) Teng Hexian (hereinafter referred to as “Mr. Teng”) visited Central District of Seoul on invitation, and was warmly welcomed and received by Seoul Deputy Mayor and Central District Head Choe Chang Sik, Central District Chamber of Commerce Chairman Kim In Ho, Dongdaemun Special District Research Institute President Song Byeong Yeol.
17 people accompanied Mr. Teng in the delegation to Korea, including the Alliance’s Vice-chairman and Shandong Provincial Construction Group’s Board Chairman Wang Chuanbo, the Alliance’s Vice-chairman and Weihai Hualong Group’s Board Chairman Meng Hua, the Alliance’s Deputy Secretary General and Beijing Derun Huitong Big Data Technology Company’s General Manager Liu Xiaoyue, the Alliance’s Executive Council Member and Shanghai Chenkai Fund Management Company’s Board Chairman Teng Yuanjie, the Alliance’s Council Member Unit Weihai Haida Hospital’s President Gu Zutao, Council Vice-chairman Unit Qingdao Kangcheng Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. General Manager Meng Xianwu, and other entrepreneurs.
Central District is the area with the most developed tertiary industry in Seoul. “Dongdaemun, Namdaemun, Myeong-dong CBDs” regarded as a paradise by shoppers are in Central District of Seoul. These places have long histories, integrate fashion into tradition, and sell various commodities, making people dazzled, including various garments, cosmetics, snacks, fibers, kitchen supplies, household appliances, folk art works, native products, all kinds of imported products.
Since China-Korea Free Trade Agreement was officially signed on June 1, 2015, as the only Chinese city chosen as a regional economic cooperation demonstration area, Weihai has actively taken advantage of the driving force of China-Korea FTA to speed up its economic and trade cooperation with Korea, promote Weihai’s urban and economic construction.
The aim of Mr. Teng’s this trip to Central District is to build a good economic and trade relationship with Central District, build sales channels in China for Central District’s popular, cutting-edge, fashionable products, build the largest Korean goods distributing centre in Weihai, and strive to make it a paradise for nationwide tourists to buy Korean goods.
After that, Mr. Teng and his party visited the “Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition of Kaesong Industrial Park Enterprises and Products” in high spirits. It’s reported this exhibition has 22 enterprise exhibitors, exhibits more than 2,000 kinds of products. It’s a rare chance for learning, exchange and cooperation.
