In the morning, on March 28, 2015, Runfar Group Board Chairman Teng Hexian (hereinafter referred to as “Mr. Teng”) met with some members of the Indonesian Government Delegation in Beijing, and had an in-depth conversation with Bintan Island’s Mayor Amzal Ahmad (hereinafter referred to as “Ahmad”).
Mayor Ahmad introduced Bintan Island’s geographical location, investment climate, policy support and other conditions for attracting investments. Bintan Island is an island of Indonesia, next to Singapore. With beautiful landscape, it’s a good tourist attraction. As early as in the 15th century, it was mentioned in the records of Zheng He’s traveling to the west. Located at the crossing of the famous India- China maritime trade routes, it once was the focus of the fight between Malay and Bugis troops. Meanwhile, it attracted the attention of investors from around the world. Mayor Ahmad graciously invited Mr. Teng to have a tour of observation in Bintan Island in the near future, to investigate and consider specific project investment.
Mr. Teng warmly welcomed the arrival of Mayor Ahmad and his party. He introduced Runfar Investment Group’s management, business scope and other conditions to Mayor Ahmad and his party, and gladly accepted Mayor Ahmad’s invitation. He said he would lead Chinese and Foreign Entrepreneurs Alliance’s some entrepreneurs to Bintan Island in June this year, to have studies, investigations and exchanges.
After that, Mr. Teng exchanged ideas with Technology Venture Co., Ltd. Director Huang Zhihuang and Hughes Network Holdings Co., Ltd. Executive Director Lv Ruifeng on investing in Bintan Island’s projects, hoping to have the chance to cooperate with Bintan Island for win-win results.
