Mr. Teng Hexian Was Invited to Attended the First "Cross-Strait SME Forum”

The first "Cross-Strait SME Forum" was grandly opened at Taipei International Convention Center, and Beijing Runfar Group Chairman of the Board and Vice Chairman of China Association of SME Teng Hexian attended the forum and delivered a speech on June 27, 2011.
The Forum was organized by Chinese Mainland Association of SME, Taiwan Association of SME and Taipei World Trade Center. Approximately 400 representatives explored new opportunities around the cross-strait economic planning and industrial development and trade and economic interconnection. The attendants at the forum included: China Association of SME Chairman Li Zibin, Taiwan Association of SME Director-General Lin Bingbin, Straits Exchange Foundation Chairman Jiang Bingkun, Taipei World Trade Center Chairman Wang Zhigang, etc.

Mr. Teng Hexian delivered a speech entitled "clear development strategy and exemplary pragmatic business" at the forum. Mr. Teng said in his speech: “we should take this event as an opportunity to create more conditions to strengthen the exchange between SME on both sides of the Taiwan Straits and pave the way for future cross-strait business cooperation so that they could take advantage of each other's strengths and join together from the capital, personnel, project and other aspects and create a new platform of mutual benefit and common development for SME on both sides of the Taiwan Straits through continuous exchanges and cooperation."

At the face-to-face meeting among entrepreneurs, Mr. Teng also said that cross-strait SME had complementary advantages and great potential for cooperation; the mainland had increasing market and capital reserves and abundant human resources, while Taiwan enterprises had strong innovation ability and rich experience in management and international market development. Cross-strait SME should grasp the opportunity for ECFA (Cross-Strait Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement) to strengthen cooperation.

During the two-day meeting, the representatives of cross-strait SME also had business talks about finance, green energy, machinery and logistics.
