Thailand's Premier Abhisit Vejjajiva and Vice Premier Shutie graciously received all the representatives and hosted a banquet for the delegation on the evening of July 28, 2009. During the meeting, Runfar Group Chairman of the Board Teng Hexian, Thailand's Premier Abhisit Vejjajiva, Vice Premier Shutie, former Vice Premier Pini, industry minister and other dignitaries toasted to each other and took photos in the best of spirits. Thailand's Premier Abhisit Vejjajiva expressed his warm welcome to Chinese business delegation to visit Thailand in his talk with Mr Teng Hexian and hoped to support the cooperation of global Chinese merchants with Thailand and their investments in Thailand to achieve a win-win situation.
All relevant Thailand governmental departments attached great importance on this visit of Chinese merchants. The industry minister, minister of foreign affairs, information and communication industry minister, secretary-general of Thailand
Investment Committee and other dignitaries attended the activity and delivered speeches, and they were accompanied by previous Vice Premier Pini of Thailand throughout the visit.
During the activity, more than 500 Thailand entrepreneurs and outstanding Chinese merchant representatives were gathered together to share business opportunities and discuss the future. After extensive investigation and exchanges, both sides had reached many cooperation intentions. This activity caused great concern and enthusiastic participation of many Chinese and Thai media, Xinhua News Agency and CCTV as well as many television, radio and newspapers in Thailand have reported this activity as it develops in all earnestness.
